Church in the Wind's Growth

Since we opened our doors on a great 4th of July weekend in 2006, a lot has been going on here. Thanks to the wonderful town of Haskell, Texas and its christian population. We have a lot of great things happening in Gods name.

We have become a big part of the Ministers Alliance, and are supported both spiritually and financially by all of the churches in our community. The 1st and the Eastside Baptist churches have not only helped with the construction, but also with food and money so that we can go on runs to further Gods ministry to the biker community. (we reach a group of people they wouldn't even want to talk to). So our outreach is vital in bringing the word of the lord to them. As always everything in God's time.

Our Biker Outreach

Even though our church is in Haskell, Texas. Our ministery is in West Texas.

Not long after we opened the church I had to have a talk with the lord.......I had to ask.....Why?.........Why Texas?.....Why Haskell?..........Why ME?............The Lord was silent!.........But not for long. It was two weeks later and he sent me on a run to Snyder, TX. The White Buffalo Bikefest. There I met some exiting men of God. A group of CMA boys from Abilene, TX. and Amarillo, TX. Who knew the Lord, and we Became fast friends. I also met some guys who didn't know God. It was then that god revieled his plan to me. I handed them the tract Jesus was an Outlaw. And as they say in the movies "the rest is history". Those guys were from the Cosacks MC, The Rebel Riders MC, Gypsy's MC, And the Booze fighters MC. Not long  after the Snyder run I was asked to come to Abilene, by the Cosacks. They wanted to get to know me and asked about god.  So a twelve week trek to Abilene began (it's 60 miles one way from Haskell.) Over that time we rode together. We laughed,we cried,we prayed over runs and food. We even Buried one of the Rebel Riders. Now after 4 months, and a unanimous vote both local, and national. I am the Honorary Chaplin of the Cosacks MC, and the COC of West Texas. God Had Spoken.

We serve an aughsum God!!!

EZEK. 3:13

and I heard the sound of the wings of the living beings touching one another, and the sound of the wheels beside them even a great rumbling sound!!!!
